About Us

Steve has been practicing law for over 30 years with experience in all sorts of matters including bad faith, insurance coverage, construction defect litigation, LLCs, real estate investing, and much more. He enjoys solving legal problems and finding practical, real-world solutions for people.

Having litigated insurance and bad faith claims with millions of dollars at stake, he understands the nature of complicated litigation and the expense. No stranger to the courtroom, he’s concluded numerous jury trials. There’s a number of published appellate decisions bearing the Buckman name as appellate counsel of record.

Outside interests include other businesses the family operates in commercial real estate and the agriculture sector. In his off time, he enjoys the fresh air and sunshine of ranch work, livestock, and trail riding on Oklahoma’s many equestrian trails.
